The Advisory Committee on University Resources Management (ACURM) is an advisory body to the president of Brown University that considers how ethical and moral standards are applied across all of Brown’s business and investment practices in a manner consistent with the University’s mission and values.

Medical Student Ambassadors are a diverse, engaged, and enthusiastic group of current medical students who serve as ambassadors to alumni, parents, and friends of The Warren Alpert Medical School. Ambassadors work closely with the Office of Biomedical Advancement on a variety of activities, including fundraising, donor stewardship, and events.

The Medical Student-Alumni Mentoring Program was established to enhance and create meaningful connections between students at The Warren Alpert Medical School and its alumni.

The Parents Leadership Council, a group of approximately 50 families, seeks to inspire parents to support Brown. Members help welcome new families into the community, host and attend events, represent Brown’s strengths and priorities within their networks, and encourage philanthropic support from their peers through individual outreach.

The Pembroke Center Advisory Council is the governing body of the Friends of the Pembroke Center—a group of Brown University alumni, parents, and friends who support the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women and its scholars.
