About the Division of Advancement
Brown University's Division of Advancement is committed to building relationships that engage Brown’s worldwide community with the University and inspire them to give back to Brown through philanthropy and volunteerism.
The Division fosters and supports mutually beneficial, lifelong ties that keep alumni connected to their alma mater and each other. Through fundraising and development, the Division cultivates philanthropic investments that align donor interests and passions with strategic University priorities.
This work is achieved through a variety of units, programs, and services including reunions and events; the Brown Annual Fund; Brown Clubs, classes and affinity groups; donor relations and stewardship; communications and marketing; parent and family giving; and much more.
