Volunteer Opportunities
Alumni Class Leaders keep classmates connected and engaged with Brown by fostering community through communications and promoting participation in regional club events, virtual programs, and campus gatherings.
They support class board administration and work with the Office of Alumni Relations, which provides training and guidance. Using BrownConnect+, the community-building platform exclusively for Brunonians, they help strengthen connections between classmates and Brown across the years.
Class leaders serve as volunteer members of the class board. Roles may include president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, DEI&B chair, communications chair, Reunion planning chair, and at-large member.
Requirements:
- Time commitment varies by role and activity level.
- Interest in building community and connecting classmates to Brown programming.
Commitment:
Class leaders are appointed every five years. Appointments occur one year after the class Reunion. Terms begin July 1 and end June 30.
