Volunteer Opportunities
Brown’s alumni affinity groups connect alumni with one another and the University around cultural, racial, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, and disability identities that cut across generations, regions, and professions.
Through community building, advocacy, and visibility, affinity groups honor the diversity of lived experiences and perspectives represented at Brown. Together, they are working to enrich the Brown experience for the entire community. Alumni affinity groups are open to all Brown alumni and students.
Current groups include the Asian / Asian American Alumni Alliance (A4), Brown Alumni Pride Association (BAPA), Brown University Latino Alumni Council (BULAC), Brown Women’s Network (BWN), Disability and Neurodivergence Alumni Collective (DNAC), Inman Page Black Alumni Council (IPC), and the Native American Brown Alumni (NABA).
Commitment:
- Volunteers typically serve two-year terms. Terms usually run from July 1 to June 30.
