Brown’s Division of Athletics and Recreation is powered by the strength of our community. Donor support through the Brown University Sports Foundation (BUSF) empowers our varsity, club, and recreation programs to push the boundaries of competition—helping student-athletes to succeed in the classroom, empowering coaches to mentor the next generation of leaders, and maintaining the premier facilities where our Brown Bears compete and grow.

Stories of Impact
The most memorable moment I have as a Brown student-athlete was our team’s win over the University of Rhode Island for the Governor’s Cup this [past] year in a night game at Centreville Bank Stadium. Rhode Island was a top-10 Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) football team, and it was the first time we had beaten them since 2017. Getting to hoist that trophy with my teammates and shake the governor’s hand post-game was an unforgettable experience.
