Your steadfast commitment ensured that the Brown community could continue to come together with confidence and care, focused on learning, discovery, and service. By strengthening the foundation that allows students, faculty, and staff to fully engage in the work of education and research, your gift played a meaningful role in advancing Brown’s mission.

Peer-to-peer advocacy is the engine of Brown’s annual giving program. Annual giving volunteers amplify the impact of the Brown Annual Fund by asking friends, classmates, alumni, students, and family members to join them in support of the University’s annual, current-use initiatives. Their passion and commitment to Brown drive the Annual Fund forward each year.

Stories of Impact

Financial aid was the determining factor in my decision to come to Brown. As a low-income, first-generation college student, a large part of the reason I applied to Brown, outside of falling in love with the campus, was because of Brown’s commitment to meeting demonstrated financial need. Additionally, the spring of my freshman year, I learned that I was an Inman Page Council Scholar, which is a part of my financial aid package, and has allowed me to attend Brown these past four years!

Generous gift will enhance Brown’s comprehensive approach to career exploration

Brown has named the Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Center for Career Exploration in honor of a gift from the parents of a Brown graduate. Their support will expand career advising, resources, and partnerships, and foster more connections between students and the broader alumni community.
