The Mercedes Domenech Brown University Latino Alumni Council (BULAC) Brown Annual Fund (BAF) Scholarship provides financial support with a preference for remarkable Latinx students, enhancing their ability to thrive and experience all that Brown has to offer. By increasing representation from all backgrounds and cultures within our student body, we’re nourishing a more inclusive and vibrant academic community on College Hill.

This current-use scholarship carries on the name and legacy of Mercedes Domenech. Over her 30-year career in Brown’s Office of Admissions, Domenech played an instrumental role in recruiting and supporting Latinx students—having a tremendous impact that has spanned generations of Brown students.
