The Brown Annual Fund Leadership Council (BAFLC) is composed of alumni volunteers from across class years and across the world who are committed to sustaining Brown's academic excellence. Members seek to inspire support from fellow alumni by making Leader-level gifts and encouraging members of the Brown community to join them in the Carrie Tower Society

First established in 2001, annual leadership contributions have grown from $5 million to more than $30 million with help from the BAFLC. Through their philanthropic support and personal outreach, this important group of volunteers has helped to set new records for the Annual Fund.

“ Brown gave me amazing opportunities to expand my horizons both personally and academically. I continue to benefit from being part of and participating in Brown's lifelong community. ”

Suzanne Auclair ’87, P’23 BAFLC Co-Chair

I wanted to study at a school that valued undergraduate education (i.e. small class sizes) and interdisciplinary studies (since I didn't know exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up ... yet). As a child of two immigrant scientists, I would not have been able to transition my career into the world of business without the mentorship from classmates, TAs and professors at Brown.
