Through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE), donors in participating countries can direct gifts to Brown University through Brown’s UK-registered charity, the Brown University Charitable Trust (Brown UK Trust) and benefit from the tax advantages provided for in the legislation of their country of residence.
To make a gift to Brown University via TGE, simply contact the partner foundation in your country of residence which will make contact with the Brown UK Trust. After confirming that the Brown UK Trust is a qualifying charity, you would make your gift to your TGE partner which will transfer your gift to the Brown UK Trust for the benefit of Brown University. TGE will deduct the following fees from your contribution: 5% up to 100,000€, 1% above this, and capped at a maximum fee of 15,000€.
