The MD Class of 2025 receives their red envelopes.

Cheers, hugs, and happy tears filled The Warren Alpert Medical School as 142 Brown University medical students celebrated Match Day on Friday, March 21, 2025. The annual event, a culmination of four years of intense study and a nine-month residency application process, revealed where the soon-to-be graduates will complete their clinical training in the years to come.

From surgery to family medicine, graduates matched into a wide range of specialties across top nationwide medical institutions. (See where the MD Class of 2025 matched.)

A special giving day

The Brown medical community marked this milestone with its second annual giving day for Match Day. With gifts to the Brown Medical Annual Fund, donors helped to strengthen the medical student experience by supporting financial aid, scholarly concentrations, research stipends, and more. In total, 219 members of the Brown community raised more than $207,000 for today’s students.
