In just a few short years, The Brown Promise has already made a lasting impact. Launched in 2018, The Promise removes loans from all undergraduate financial aid packages awarded by Brown and replaces them with scholarships. Without the burden of excessive debt, students from moderate-income backgrounds have the freedom to not only choose Brown but thrive here.
The Brown Promise Challenge
Now as we look to the future, we want to make sure that generations of Brunonians to come have the same opportunity. By completing a $100 million endowment, we look to make The Brown Promise a permanent piece of the University's financial landscape.
