When you make your planned gift to The Warren Alpert Medical School, you are forging a connection with tomorrow’s health care leaders, ensuring that Brown will continue to be a hub for innovation.

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, your legacy gift can go even further. The first five donors to commit a planned gift of $100,000 or more to The Warren Alpert Medical School will unlock an additional $10,000 Dean’s Circle gift to the Brown Medical Annual Fund, which directly supports students through financial aid and medical education.

Planned giving is a powerful way to sustain Brown’s biomedical ecosystem that spans from medical student education to Ph.D. training, and from basic science discovery through therapeutic intervention. These gifts help us meet the future with hope and possibility.

Support Brown’s world-class academics, cutting-edge research, and student success

Planned gifts offer the flexibility to support areas that matter most to you. Here are some priorities to consider:students and instructor working at a Brown lab

  • Biomedical Research: Powering collaboration and fueling breakthroughs that translate from the lab to the patient’s bedside.
  • Medical Scholarships: Enabling Brown to recruit the most talented students from all backgrounds and expose them to the latest trends in medicine, science, and technology.
  • Brown Medical Annual Fund: Providing financial aid and resources that allow students to participate in cutting-edge research as they train to become compassionate changemakers in health care.

Challenge gifts to the Brown Medical Annual Fund (BMAF) will provide immediate-use support to educate future physicians and advance discovery.

We are very grateful for our educational experience at Brown–it provided a strong foundation for our professional selves, exciting experiential learning, and lifelong friendships. We established a scholarship to give back to this place that has been so important in our lives and to empower the next generation of students. Our planned gift helps ensure that future medical professionals can choose their specialty based on their passion, not the burden of student debt. We hope that many others can take this kind of step.
