Volunteer Opportunities
The Reunion Gift Committee is an important group of alumni volunteers serving in various roles to encourage philanthropic participation in the Reunion Class Gift through the Brown Annual Fund, inspiring classmates to reconnect with each other and the University during the Reunion year.
Committee membership is a fairly high-profile, high-impact volunteer opportunity, with only a modest time commitment. Approximately 200 volunteers across all Reunion years join this important effort. Roles include participation, leadership, planned giving, and stewardship providing a variety of opportunities for alumni to use their talents to contribute to a successful Reunion effort for their class and Brown.
Requirements:
- Philanthropic contribution of any size to their Reunion Class Gift.
- Promotion of Reunion Weekend and other class events is encouraged.
Commitment:
Committees begin forming in the summer before Reunion and are usually assembled by September. New members are welcome at any time in the cycle. Terms end June 30, though volunteers may continue after Reunion in a lighter capacity.
