Volunteer Opportunities
The President's Advisory Council on the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society (IBES) considers long-term policy and planning issues, strategic directions, and efficacy of implementation concerning IBES.
The council is staffed by the Director of the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society.
Requirements:
- Ability to offer expertise in relevant areas to the president and administrators
- Attendance at and/or participation in two annual meetings
- Annual philanthropic participation (at any level) encouraged/expected
Commitment:
Members serve three-year terms, beginning July 1 and ending June 30. Terms may be renewed at the discretion of the president.
